Frustrated Bobrisky Declares, “I Am Tired” (Video)

Nigerian crossdresser Idris Okuneye, known as Bobrisky, has said that she or he has become frustrated with the the focus on him. He has as such begged the media to remove its focus on her or him.

His controversy arose from an audio recording released by social critic VeryDarkMan. In this recording, someone allegedly claiming to be Bobrisky discussed paying the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) to dismiss his money laundering charges and mentioned reaching out to rapper Falz for assistance in securing a presidential pardon from his father, Femi Falana.

On October 14, the Falana family sent a legal letter to Bobrisky, demanding a public apology within twelve hours or face legal action.

In his response, Bobrisky denied knowing the person in the audio and insisted he did not pay Falana or Falz for any pardon.

In a Thursday Instagram video, Bobrisky expressed his weariness with the social media saga, questioning if he was the only celebrity in Nigeria. He requested to be left alone, even for just a month, and urged people to remove negativity from his page.

Bobrisky expressing how he had become frustrated also wondered why Nigerians wouldn’t allow him to rest, questioning what he had done to warrant such treatment.
