CAF Awards: Tinubu Hails Lookman, Nnadozie, Falcons

President Bola Tinubu has extended heartfelt congratulations to Super Eagles forward Ademola Lookman, Super Falcons goalkeeper Chiamaka Nnadozie, and the entire Super Falcons team for their remarkable achievements at the 2024 CAF Awards.

The awards ceremony, held on Monday night at the Palais des Congrès in Marrakech, Morocco, celebrated outstanding African football talents. Ademola Lookman was honored as the ‘CAF Men’s African Footballer of the Year’, while Chiamaka Nnadozie clinched the title of ‘CAF Women’s Goalkeeper of the Year’. The Super Falcons were also named ‘CAF Women’s National Team of the Year’, a testament to their exceptional performance on the continent.

In a press release by Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, President Tinubu joined millions of Nigerians in celebrating these athletes, calling them “worthy ambassadors” who have showcased their talent and brought honour to the country on the global stage.
