Woman In Tears As Police Tow Her Car Over Alleged BRT Lane Violation On Way To Daughter’s Convocation (Video)

A heartbreaking video circulating on social media shows how a woman’s day of glory was turned into a nightmare after she was apprehended driving on the Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) lane in her desperation to catch up with her daughter’s convocation.
The woman, who was reportedly on her way to her daughter’s convocation ceremony, was captured in the clip crying uncontrollably, asking, “What is my offense that it cannot be forgiven?” She begged the officers to release her vehicle so she could attend the important family event, but they appeared unmoved by her pleas.
Despite her visible distress, the officers ignored her, refusing to reconsider their action. The incident has sent the social media on frenzy, with many Nigerians questioning the fairness of towing her car if the BRT lane was indeed unmarked.

Some sympathized with the mother, calling for leniency, while others argued that ignorance of road rules should not excuse violations.
