How Atiku Received COVID-19 Vaccine In Dubai
Former Vice President Abubakar Atiku received COVID-19 vaccine in Dubai it emerged on Thursday.
The former vice-president received the Pfizer COVID-19 brand of vaccine in an unstated health facility in the Middle East country.
Ovation publisher, Dele Momodu made the disclosure on his twitter page. He said:
“Former Vice President, The Wazirin Adamawa, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, receives Pfizer COVID-19 jab vaccination.”
In the pictures Atiku was seen waiting his turn in the facility, being registered and then being administered with the vaccine.
Speaking through his media aide, Paul Ibe, he said that the effect of the vaccine in mitigating the scourge of the pandemic cannot be over emphasised.
Atiku’s spokesman, Paul Ibe, also confirmed the development saying, “The importance of the #COVID19 vaccine in mitigating the effect of the coronavirus cannot be overstated, particularly in Africa and Nigeria. Yesterday (Wednesday), as part of the mass vaccination programme, His Excellency Atiku Abubakar received the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine.”
Atiku was personally touched at the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic when one of his sons caught the virus and was hospitalised for more than one month.
