Buhari’s Critics Fight Dirty Over Tinubu

Some of the major critics of the Muhammadu Buhari administration were at war at the weekend over their approach to the Bola Tinubu administration with Rufai Oseni, co-host of ARISE TV Morning Show and Hakeem Baba-Ahmed, former spokesman of the Northern Elders Forum as the major combatants.

GWG.ng reports that Baba-Ahmed recently took up appointment as Special Adviser on Political Matters to Vice-President Kashim Shettima under the Tinubu administration.

The appointment was flayed in some circles.

Rufai Oseni had in a post via X, said some activists from the North were now quiet after being appointed into key positions by the President Bola Tinubu-led administration.

Oseni did not quote anyone in the post but it quicky drew the attention of Baba-Ahmed who hit back at the television anchor describing him as a coward.

Oseni had said:

Reacting, the former NEF spokesman described the TV co-host as a coward for failing to finger anyone in his post.

Replying, Baba-Ahmed wrote: “Pity. One would expect people like you, Oseni, to name names. This is cowardly. It is possible that you do not know that serving the nation is not a source of shame.

“People who are involved in addressing ‘Buhari’s quagmire’ are miles ahead of those like you who hide behind mics.”

This triggered reactions from users, with some accusing the government official of feeling guilty despite not being mentioned by Oseni.
