APC Chief Seeks Prayers After Mother’s Death

Alhaja Fatima Abdul Rahim Alabi, the mother of All Progressives Congress (APC) chieftain and journalist, Alhaji Muhammed Mubarak, has passed away.

The mother to the APC chieftain, cum Journalist, died on Friday night, January 3, 2025, at the age of 93.

In a statement released by Alhaji Muhammed Mubarak, the APC Chieftain described his late mother as a beloved matriarch whose life was marked by devotion and grace. She reportedly passed away at the family residence in Ilorin, Kwara State, around 8:00 p.m. after battling age-related health challenges.

Alhaja Fatima was survived by her five children, including Alhaji Ahmed Alabi, her eldest son; Alhaji Muhammed Mubarak, APC chieftain in the Federal Capital Territory; Malam Nurain Alabi of Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria; Malam Abdallah Habib Alabi; and Imam Maaruf Alabi, the Chief Imam of NASFAT Society, Zaria branch. Her legacy also includes numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

The family has requested prayers for the peaceful repose of her soul.
